GITAM Technology Enabling Centre (G-TEC)

The key to unlock the potential for growth and advancement is significant investments in Research & Development. Andhra Pradesh is ranked an honourable 9th position in the NITI Aayog Innovation Index. To improve their standing in innovation on a national and international level, India and Andhra Pradesh must make more strides. The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has started Technology Enabling Centres (TECs) in all of India's states in an innovative effort to overcome these barriers. These TECs use cutting-edge technology created by academia to meet industry concerns in order to foster an ecosystem that encourages innovation. In a moment of great pride, GITAM Deemed to be University has been selected by DST to establish the Technology Enabling Centre for Andhra Pradesh. GITAM Technology Enabling Centre G-TEC will be involved in a variety of tasks, such as technology mining, technology assessment based on readiness levels, technology development under the direction of expert panels, technology transfer to industries to address problems, production of market reports, and capacity building initiatives. By embracing emerging technologies and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, G-TEC continues to shape the future of technology and make a meaningful difference in the world.
