Give A Note Foundation’s mission is to expand and increase music education opportunities for all children, especially those in low-wealth and underserved areas. Through strategic partnerships and grassroots campaigns, Give A Note Foundation connects musicians, teachers, students, policymakers, and community members and empowers them to fight for music education in children’s lives.
Give A Note Foundation (GAN) 501(c)(3) is established with an initial $1 million investment from 20th Century Fox, Glee, and Ryan Murphy, in partnership with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) in response to growing student interest and involvement with school music programs and national budget cuts in public schools for the arts.
Music programs were incredibly important to me growing up, and we hope that our show and initiatives like “Give a Note” continue to demonstrate how much they mean to our kids.
