Global Bancorp Inc. is a specialized multi-concept franchise organization whose management team has a history of success in the Canadian franchise industry. Global Bancorp was originally created in 2017 by an amalgamation of Franchise Bancorp Inc. and the holding company that acquired all of the Franchise Bancorp shares that were publicly held. Franchise Bancorp was originally established in 1997 to acquire several retail chains which the company consolidated into two key operating divisions under the brands Living Lighting and Global Pet Foods, serving Canadians across the country. Creating a larger network brought synergies, efficiencies and expertise to individual companies, providing better buying power through economies of scale.
