Global Shapers Community Bern

The Global Shapers Community Bern is a place for young people in the Swiss federal city to deliver local projects with impact whilst growing and connecting with peers. Our supportive and diverse membership is the perfect setting to implement the change you want to see and contribute to worthwhile initiatives in and around Bern. Our community brings together dedicated students and young professionals with diverse backgrounds, each of us bringing their own expertise and interests to the table. Together we develop and implement projects with local and social benefits – always pursuing the idea of ‘thinking globally but acting locally’. In addition, regular social get-togethers and other events. We are embedded in a network of over 16’000 members, spanning over 500 city-based hubs in over 150 countries. The truly Global Shapers Community, born out of the World Economic Forum, believes in a world in which young people are at the heart of solution-building, policy-making and lasting change. Our mission is to inspire, empower and connect young leaders to reach their full potential, shape decision-making processes and drive positive change in their communities and the world.
