About Global Warming for Busy People

Global Warming for Busy People is an independent, nonprofit media founded by editor and lean manufacturing expert Bill Murphy of Silicon Valley, California in 2016. Its goal is to influence businesspeople to prevent or adapt to potentially catastophic climate change. And we want to educate the business community that, far from being sacrifice, there are solid jobs and investment opportunities coming. "Do well by doing good." Our strategy is to share job-search tips, leads to business opportunities, and investment articles targeting the advanced energy, Smart Cities, advanced transportation, clean cuisine and planetary reforestation sectors. Ours is a labor of love, not a moneymaking blog. As the saying goes: "To save the planet, invest your working life." That's 2,080 hours each year of pure muscle and intention. In 2017 we launched a Facebook Page, which compliments rather than mirroring our LinkedIn Page. It teaches young people how to reduce their personal carbon footprint ("To save the planet, change yourself first"), as well as mentoring them in advocacy skills ("To save the planet, use your voice"), and coaching them to consider careers in the forward-looking sectors noted above. In 2018 we launched an Instagram platform, emphasizing memes as a concise way to message. Please kindly Follow and Share our Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/globalwarmingforbusypeople/ and our Instagram Page at www.instagram.com/globalwarmingforbusypeople/. Finally, our fourth platform is our base website in Wordpress - a collection of 30 best practices to answer the reader question, "OK, I get it... how do I do my part?" Please visit it at www.globalwarmingforbusypeople.com.
