AEGIS is a multi-line advisory firm that helps businesses of all sizes achieve their legal, strategic, and financing goals. Founded in 2003, our firm takes its name from a Greek mythological symbol, the aegis, referred to as a protective shield in the Iliad. In Greek mythological times, the aegis was traditionally regarded as a symbol of sponsorship, protection, and authority. We adopted this symbolism because we believe in sponsoring and protecting the interests of our clients. Since our founding, we have assisted clients in raising hundreds of millions of dollars to finance their businesses and have advised numerous clients from the idea stage to the successful exit of their business. Today, AEGIS strives to uphold the tradition of the aegis by offering inter-related lines of advisory services- Legal, Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Capital Sourcing- to individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes throughout the United States. Our offices in St. Louis, Chicago, Denver, Tampa and more are staffed with professional attorneys, accountants, and other advisors who bring a rich diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and specialized talents to the work we do on behalf of our clients.
