GoGreen Conservation

GoGreen is part of the Horizon Project funded by the European Union, and is set to take place over 48 months, beginning October 2022. The ultimate aim of this project is to create a paradigm shift in current conservation practices to one that is more sustainable and conscious of the environmental impact of the conservation of cultural heritage field. GoGreen aims to do this through research and development of new methods greener materials, analysis and adjustments of current environmental standards, creating policy, developing a decision-making model, and a prototype of a digital app to aid conservators in the design of preventive and remedial conservation treatments.
