GOLDEN BEES LTD

Golden Bees Ltd is a new age social enterprise that packs, processes and distributes honey and other bee products all premised on over 3,000 smallholder beekeepers across Uganda. We also manufacture hives, beekeeping inputs, offer trainings and consultancies among others. The current trend of doing business is seeking for solutions that address social environmental challenges by reaching out to communities in a sustainable manner through a social business approach inclined to the base of the pyramid (grass roots) to ensure that impact trickles down effectively. In this case our focus is to present a business concept focusing on beekeeping that will enable us explore this opportunity by developing a sustainable Honey Value chain among smallholder beekeepers in several areas of Uganda.
