About Gomecsys - Fuel Saving Engine Technology

Gomecsys is a Dutch engineering company located near Amsterdam that was founded in 1997 with the vision to develop fuel saving internal combustion engine technology. The focus is on Variable Compression Ratio (VCR) engines and the first prototype was developed in 2000. Thereafter various prototypes were built: • 4 cylinder inline in Mercedes C200 • 2 cylinder in Mitsubishi Colt The Gomecsys VCR technology is capable to deliver 8-10% CO2 gr/km reduction at minimal extra cost to the engine or car as the technology can be implemented in existing engine architecture. Since 2012 a collaboration has been ongoing with PSA to convert and test a 4 cylinder spark ignited engine first to NDEC and currently to WLTC performance requirements. DEMO car testing is to be completed early 2018. We have several projects ongoing with other OEMs.
