Talking about periods remains a taboo subject even till today. Go With The Flow strives to change this by ending the shame and eradicating period poverty. We aim to bridge access to menstrual healthcare for low-income families through sanitary pad donation and distribution.
Based on statistics provided by SingStat in 2018, the bottom 20% of Singapore households face a deficit of $4,020 a year. The cost of sanitary products, a necessary monthly purchase for many of these households, adds on to this deficit. This results in deeper financial constraints for the family. Go With The Flow believes that the provision of menstrual products to disadvantaged communities is a way to provide them the dignity they deserve.
