The Global Partnerships Unit serves as a direct link for the private sector to collaborate with the Department of State on top foreign policy priorities such as climate change and energy transition, economic security, and emerging technology. Through our innovative approach to diplomacy and cross-sector collaboration, the Office of Global Partnerships convenes leaders across government, industry, civil society, and academia to accomplish shared goals. Since its launch in 2009, State’s Office of Global Partnerships has worked with more than 1,800 private sector partners and mobilized more than $3 billion in private sector resource commitments.
