In the 2000s, GPlusMedia expanded its media and marketing operations with the acquisition of Japan Today, the country’s No. 1 English-language news and commentary site. The popularity of our online channels earned the attention of Japanese companies keen to reach the international community here in Japan. In 2015, GPlusMedia was acquired by Fujisankei Communications. In April 2022, GPlusMedia was acquired by Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd., a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed publishing company.
