GraBis는 자성을 띤 나노소재를 기반으로 생명과학 및 진단 분야에 특화된 고성능 마그네틱 비드를 개발하는 바이오 스타트업입니다. 우리는 “작은 입자가 만드는 큰 변화”를 모토로, DNA 정제, NGS 샘플 전처리, 액체생검 기반 바이오마커 분리 등 다양한 응용 분야에서 높은 효율과 정밀도를 갖춘 시약 솔루션을 제공합니다. GraBis의 핵심 기술은 단핵(single-core) 구조의 자성 나노입자입니다. 일반적인 다핵(Multi-core) 비드보다 훨씬 더 높은 자성 회수력과 균일한 입자 분포 특성을 지니고 있어, 세척 시간이 짧고 오염 가능성이 낮으며, 결과 재현성을 크게 향상시킵니다. 현재 출시된 첫 번째 제품 GraBeads-NCB는 NGS 클린업(정제) 용도로 사용되며, 국내외 유전체 분석 기업 및 병원 연구소에서의 초기 테스트에서 상용 제품 대비 20~30% 향상된 효율을 보였습니다. 우리는 이 기술을 기반으로 항체 고정화, 세포 분리, 바이러스 검출 등 고부가가치 진단 영역까지 기술을 확장해 나가고 있으며, 향후 조기 암 진단과 감염병 모니터링을 위한 맞춤형 플랫폼 구축을 목표로 하고 있습니다. Guided by the belief that “small particles can spark big breakthroughs,” we develop high-performance magnetic bead solutions for DNA purification, NGS sample preparation, and biomarker separation in liquid biopsy applications. Our core technology is based on proprietary single-core magnetic nanobeads. Compared to conventional multi-core beads, our particles offer significantly stronger magnetism, superior dispersion, and faster wash kinetics resulting in cleaner results, shorter protocols, and improved reproducibility. Our first product, GraBeads-NCB, is designed for NGS cleanup workflows. In early benchmarking studies with genome sequencing companies and hospital labs, GraBeads-NCB demonstrated 20–30% higher performance compared to leading commercial products. Building on this foundation, we are expanding into antibody immobilization, cell separation, and pathogen detection ultimately aiming to deliver next-generation platforms for early cancer diagnosis and infectious disease monitoring.
