GREATER THAN

Greater Than is a family-run company. It was the first coconut water-based hydration drink for elite athletes, but a customer, who was a new mom, posted on the Greater Than site that the product helped her produce milk for breastfeeding. Soon, other new moms began posting that they, too, had tried GT with the same result. These moms began talking with one another on our site and began sharing the news with others. We never imagined that moms would later adopt this brand as their own. Many of these moms had no one to talk to and get advice from, so our online site and the info we shared filled their need for a trusted and caring place for help. Greater Than, is an incredibly customer-oriented company to begin with, so we really listened to what these moms were saying. Moms at this time are often vulnerable, weary and worried about being good moms who can produce enough milk. Greater Than recognized that no one was focusing on moms in the coconut water hydration drinks category. We started to feel that our product could bring relief and a sense of security to moms and that they were doing good for their babies. Our family related to these moms, being moms ourselves. We feel moms have the most important job, but it is a job without an instruction book. Care for the whole family’s health and well-being, emotionally and physically, falls on moms’ shoulders from the time their kids are babies and as they grow up. All that moms do is often unrecognized and underappreciated. So, based on this real need of moms, the Greater Than family changed the direction of the company and dedicated our legacy to nurturing moms and, ultimately, their children by providing support, encouragement and empathy along with our natural and nourishing products. Today, our moms quickly find out that Greater Than walks the walk when we say we care. Our Greater Than CEO and family talk with moms all the time to find what we could improve upon and what we could provide help with. We love moms!
