About GREENPORT International Airport and Technology Center

Central Texas Airport Holdings, led by a long-time local developer, is pleased to announce the development of GREENPORT International Airport and Technology Center. The GREENPORT project will be located adjacent to New Republic Studios and a tremendous amenity to our company. The GREENPORT project integrates a privately owned and operated, state-of-the-art “green” airport, known as GREENPORT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IAIA/FAA Code: GIA), designed from the ground up to serve larger business, private and charter aircraft in central Texas; and an environmentally and ecologically sustainable, secure corporate campus, known as GREENPORT INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER, built to provide a highly accessible and secure business center serving the technology, data-center, and green businesses, as well as government agencies with high-security requirements. Today, Austin lacks adequate aviation facilities and services for larger business jets and national aircraft charter and leasing companies. GIA will deliver solutions to these current deficiencies with a fully instrument-equipped, 7,500-foot runway and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting facilities meeting applicable underwriting requirements imposed by the commercial aircraft insurance market. When completed, GREENPORT International Airport will be the only airport in the Austin MSA, other than Austin Bergstrom International Airport ((IAIA/FAA Code: ABIA), to meet these requirements. GIA will also provide the region with a privately funded U.S. Customs Port of Entry/Exit that can expedite general aviation travelers without delays. GREENPORT is a shovel-ready project with entitlements in place. It is expected to be operational in 24 months from Some key benefits to using GREENPORT International Airport as the base for your aircraft: Low Operating Costs, Maximum Convenience, Security and Safety. If you are interested in basing your aircraft at GREENPORT, I would encourage you to contact us: stephen@greenport-us.com
