Green Spider

Co-founded by Cédric Villani (Mathematician, Fields Medal 2010; Former Member of Parliament and President of the Scientific Parliamentary Office, France) and Shrey Goyal (UNFCCC Global Climate Action awardee and Forbes 30-under-30 listmaker), Green Spider embodies the spirit of « Catalysts Sans Frontières ». Our vision is a world which acts as a global community of diverse actors working in tandem towards achieving ecological harmony and tackling the challenges of climate change and the green transition. Climate change and sustainable transition challenges are pressing global issues, and numerous change agents across the globe are working towards tackling them. However, these efforts are often unconnected with sub-optimal distribution of resources and myriad redundancies. This lack of coordinated effort is also exacerbated by the fragmented cultural and political landscape of today. There is a critical need to synchronise synergies between all forces involved. Green Spider thus endeavours to fill this gap by tapping into the global web of ideas and actors and making the connections and linkages necessary to accelerate their impact.
