Greentech Science is a biotech company developing innovative seeds to help transform agriculture in emerging markets. Our main focus is castor - a non-edible, drought-resistant crop used to produce castor oil, a raw material essential to over 700 products across the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, automotive, and chemical industries. Global demand for castor oil exceeds U$2 billion and continues to grow, but production is limited. We’ve developed and registered a new, high-performing castor seed variety, bred for higher yields, indehiscent, with higher oil content, and stronger resistance to climate stress. This innovation opens the door to making castor farming more productive, more profitable, and more sustainable — especially in Latin America, where climate and land conditions are ideal but the crop remains underutilized. Our business model integrates genetic R&D, field trials, seed licensing, and strategic partnerships to scale the impact of our technology.
