Founded in 2010, the Greg Secker Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to positively improving the quality of life of people around the world. Focusing on education, life skills and leadership initiatives, the foundation strives to equip communities with essential strategies for success. Our mission is to enable people to reach their full potential, thereby transforming their lives and ultimately their community.
We support charities with financial contributions and grants, in order to assist them in expanding their services. Amongst others, the Greg Secker Foundation is proud to work with Virgin Unite, Barnardo’s, Ubuntu Education Fund, Starkey Hearing Foundation, and House of Refuge Foundation, Inc.
As well as supporting other charities with financial contributions, we also have our own programmes.
Build a House, Build a Home:
Our Build a House, Build a Home programme is building 100 homes to those worst affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philppines, as well as a multipurpose, state of the art training centre that will provide skills training and livelihood programmes.
We are committed to creating a thriving community for victims of the 2013 Typhoon Haiyan that struck and devastated the municipality of Lemery, Iloilo in the Philippines. We are building 100 homes, strong enough to withstand future typhoons. Further to this, the Foundation plans on building a state of the art, multipurpose training centre where a livelihood program will help families to support themselves in the future. We are cooperating with the Cental Philippines University in order to provide skills training.
Youth Programmes:
The Foundation is dedicated to empowering young people and assisting them in reaching their potential. We have held youth programmes since 2011 with the week long Youth Leadership Summit in the UK from 2011 till 2014, and the 'Inspired Youth' workshop in partnership with Pride Factor in South Africa in 2016.
