About Greggs Foundation

Greggs Foundation is a grant-making charity which aims to build stronger, healthier communities in the areas Greggs operates. The Foundation has been supporting local communities for over 35 years and has three key aims: - To address issues of poverty and inequality - Ensure food is at the heart of communities - Support local organisations to make a difference We distribute around £5 million per year to charitable organisations throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Through our Feeding Brighter Futures, programme we support in excess of 75,000 children every single day at one of our 1000 schools to attend a breakfast, after school or holiday club. The Greggs Foundation supports charitable organisations through a community grants programme making grants of up to £20,000 per year to community organisations making a real difference in their local area. The Hardship Fund offers practical, hands-on support to families and individuals in financial hardship and offers grants towards household equipment which can make a significant difference to people’s lives.
