Grassroots and Rural Innovative Development(GRID-India)

G.R.I.D. focuses on providing sustainable and affordable electricity to rural areas and envisages at catering to the energy needs of this population. G.R.I.D. primarily aims at providing electricity to the un-electrified villages in the country which for various reasons have been devoid of the same. These villages are located in far flung areas and do not have any connection with the main power grid. Some of the villages are located at such distance where in all the electricity is lost during the transmission, thus, leaving the village dark. G.R.I.D. works towards a holistic inclusion of various stakeholders in sensitizing the masses towards the application and advantages of renewable energy. Working towards the larger goal of making India into more green and sustainable in terms of its energy needs, G.R.I.D. intends to play a significant role in resolving the current energy crisis by creating an effective, viable and scalable model wherein the common masses are able to afford clean energy, thus making India shine better and brighter. G.R.I.D has innovative solutions for many essential problems like Lighting, Clean drinking water, Communication, Electrification of the villages etc. We work both in Urban as well as rural areas of the country to improve the living standard of the people by providing them access to cleaner and sustainable sources of energy.
