Groom and Cave is a small, highly focused business law firm located in San Jose, California, serving primarily medium to very large, business enterprises and their officers, directors and shareholders. Our clients are located both within and outside of California. Each member of the firm has previously been associated with much larger, full-service business law firms located in Northern California. Each member of the firm has elected to narrow the scope of their practice and expertise in order to provide our clients with quality legal representation in an efficient and personalized fashion. Our objective is to work closely with individuals and the principals and managers of public and privately held business enterprises and, if appropriate, with the members of their immediate families, in order to provide assistance to them in a variety of areas where we feel our background and experience can benefit our clients' business, family and personal objectives. In furtherance of this approach, it is common for us to work closely with our clients' financial officers, their outside accountants and where appropriate, outside legal counsel retained to provide expertise in those specialized areas in which the firm does not currently provide legal representation.
