Grossman Therapy provides community-based, quality counseling services for children, youth, adults and their families in Arizona, primarily in Maricopa, Pinal and Gila counties. Grossman and Grossman, Ltd. first began in 1984 as an independent practitioner, was incorporated in 1990, and since inception has held contracts with the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts to provide services to juvenile probation clients referred by the courts in Maricopa, Pinal and Gila counties. Currently we also provide services to the Gila River Indian Community, the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and are providers under Cenpatico Integrated Care and Health Choice Integrated. Additional clients are referred from the behavioral health system, inter-state compacts or on a private basis.
We provide individual and family therapy in our five office locations in Phoenix, Peoria, Mesa, Casa Grande and Tucson. We also provide community based counseling in the home, school or detention setting. Our therapists travel throughout Maricopa, Pinal, Gila and Pima counties. If needed, our in home intervention can be provided at an intensive level (2-3 times a week) with a master’s level therapist to address client and family concerns. We offer juvenile sexual misbehavior treatment groups in our offices in Phoenix, Peoria, Mesa, Casa Grande and Tucson.
Our therapists are certified and are specialized in working with victim trauma, general mental health problems, substance abuse and chronic behavioral health problems. We have therapists trained in EMDR and TLC (Trauma and Loss in Children).
We also address the various aspects of sexual abuse, whether for the offender, the victim, or the family who may have both the offender and the victim in the same family unit.
