grtraveller was launched for the first time in the Spring of 2019 and is the ultimate travel "companion" for Greeks and Greek speakers moving around the territory (Soon there will be an English version too!). It was created to reintroduce Greek destinations and rekindle the travellers' interest in domestic travel. The magazine’s purpose is for its audience to explore Greece and “challenge” them to discover Greece's unknown treasures. It proposes to its audience alternative and special forms of tourism with an emphasis on culture, history, tradition, sustainability and contact with nature. The free press is distributed in Attica at premium points as well as to those boarding for long-distance transports at the Athens National Bus Station, with a tirage of 150,000 copies quarterly. In just three years of its launch, grtraveller won three awards (Gold - Best Overall Editorial Presence, Silver - Minimalist Design and Storyline, Production, as well as Bronze - Best Editorial/Column: “Destinations of the 5 Senses”) at the Regional Media Awards competition in 2021, a competition awarding the most innovative Regional and Local Media.
