In 1930, Grythyttan Stålmöbler designed and manufactured the first chair, the A2, which was introduced at The Stockholm Exhibition. The success was immediate and a complete array of furniture for the garden soon followed. Popularity grew, and during the 40’s and 50’s the furniture found its way into many Swedish
gardens, and into many Swede’s hearts. Ever since, the brand stands for quality in manufacturing, materials, and design that lasts for generations.
The family owned company still operates from Grythyttan where production, assembling and packing takes place. Each piece of furniture is a result of solid workmanship. The quality and durability proves itself time and time again as generations pass by, inheriting, appreciating and growing up with the same piece of furniture.
