Guidetti Foundation

The Guidetti Foundation is the charity foundation of the Deportivo Alavés and Swedish International team player John Guidetti. Although Swedish, John Guidetti’s paternal grandfather came from Italy and his great grandfather has Brazilian roots, he has lived twice in Kenya when his family worked with a Swedish school project in Nairobi. John credits a lion share of his passion for football and gratitude to life to the time when playing football with older kids in the slum areas of Kibera and Mathare, Nairobi. The Guidetti Foundation envision young people to have the opportunity to follow John in his footsteps by empowering them to achieve a positive change.
