World Surgical Foundation

The World Surgical Foundation is committed to providing charitable surgical health care to the world’s poor and underserved in developing nations regardless of race, color, religion, or creed. WSF has performed over 10,000 free surgeries since October 1997. We have improved health care in many third-world countries, including Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, and Thailand. World Surgical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization led by a volunteer board of directors. The board of directors is responsible for coordinating volunteers, organizing surgical camps, fundraising, and warehousing medical equipment and supplies. Our difference is in promoting sustainable patient care and medical self-reliance by teaching local physicians and medical professionals new surgical techniques and showing them how to use donated equipment and supplies. WSF conducts at least two major surgical missions each year performing between 100 and 150 operations during each five to ten-day camp.
