GWK Academy Family Building, Inc.

GWK Academy's mission is to support and empower all LGBTQ+ people for their journey to parenthood by providing inclusive educational resources, peer support, coaching, and referrals spanning all paths and possibilities for family-building. In the near future we plan to expand on our mission by offering specialized support and services to help new and expecting parents—whether welcoming a newborn, a toddler or an older child—prepare for the arrival of their family member and navigate their first year of parenthood with confidence and connection. While our goal for GWK Academy is to quickly earn a reputation as "the very first stop on any LGBTQ+ person's path to parenthood," we intentionally designed it with the flexibility to provide support and value to people wherever they are on their journey, not only for those just getting started. GWK Academy is a nonprofit organization that believes knowledge and access will have a huge impact on every single family-building journey, and to give everyone their greatest chance for success, GWK Academy is provided to everyone for free.
