Endorsed by the Activities Board of Columbia & Columbia University Libraries. The Columbia Undergraduate Journal for Gynecology & Women's Health (GYNECA) is a semesterly intercollegiate journal publishing undergraduate peer-reviewed research in all fields of women's health and gynecology on the basis of its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest, timeliness, accessibility, elegance and surprising conclusions. GYNECA also provides rapid, authoritative, and insightful news and interpretation of topical and coming trends affecting science, scientists and the wider public. We aim to: 1. Promote gender-based biology: We highlight the intersection between sex, gender, and health, working to improve patient care and treatment. 2. Address social determinants of health: We focus on populations of women that are underrepresented, understudied, and underreported in health research. 3.
