Haand Pottery

Haand began when childhood friends Chris Pence and Mark Warren decided to start a company together with the goal of designing and producing high quality modern designs using traditional craft methods. We built Haand around the goal of designing and producing high quality modern ceramics with traditional craft methods. Since 2012, our designs have found their way into homes, restaurants, and galleries across the country. We do everything in-house. From prototyping to glaze formulation, we believe that to do something right, we must be involved in the entire process. Haand’s products and manufacturing are influenced in equal parts by craftspeople and industry. Haand produces objects at a volume, yet each piece is touched by our makers’ hands as it moves from concept to table, from minerals and spring water to durable and high performance ceramics. Our workshop is located in Burlington, NC. Haand is a diverse and inclusive workforce. We know that an object made with care, intention, and love will shine when placed next to a similar mass produced object.
