Harrogate & District Community Action connects and supports our communities, charities and volunteers to make the Harrogate District a great place to live and work. We offer the following services: - HADCA Volunteering Directory helping people find their ideal role - The Where to Turn Community Information Directory for the Harrogate District - Specialist information and resources for charities and community groups including regular newsletter updates. - Networks for community contacts to connect, collaborate, fund raise and influence local decision making - The Harrogate Easier Living Project (HELP) which supports people to remain safe and well, living independently in their own home, supported by volunteers. - Community Fit enabling people to be active, social and help out in their communities, giving time to Harrogate’s people and spaces. - Help Out Harrogate offering local people the chance to volunteer at a variety of one-off events without the need to make any regular commitment. - The Power of 10 inspiring young people to seek out volunteering opportunities they may not usually explore, building confidence, skills, and good well-being practices along the way. - Voluntary Sector job listings - Local events listings - Harrogate Community House with affordable office accommodation and well equipped meeting spaces. HADCA is a registered charity and a membership organisation. Full Membership is free and is open to all charities, community groups and social enterprises operating in the Harrogate district. Associate Membership is open to individuals and organisations who wish to support HADCA and local voluntary and community action.
