HaimBio is a drug development company. Their flagship product, Starvanip, is a metabolism-based cancer therapy that kills cancer cells by starving them of metabolic energy. Starvanip inhibits cancer cell growth and induces apoptosis -- the death of cancer cells. It does this by inhibiting the energy source of cancer cells, dramatically reducing side effects such as harm to normal cells and reducing the toxicity of current anticancer therapies.
