They believed it was the natural consequence of high uncertainty. However, in the words of the late Clayton Christensen, “... when the business world encounters an intractable management problem, it’s a sign that business executives and scholars are getting something wrong–that there isn’t yet a satisfactory theory for what’s causing the problem, and under what circumstances it can be overcome.” Half-Solved’s founder, Dr Erik Simanis, has dedicated his career to solving this problem. In partnership with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate venture teams, and researchers, he has spent two decades researching the causes of market creation’s high failure rate, and developing the tools needed to overcome them.
