Handy Hats was an idea that University of Dayton college student, Dani Ruffolo came-up with when she was 19.
Five years later, Dani has continued to grow the Handy Hats brand - in fact, Handy Hats are patented products! They are available for purchase in several Dayton area retailers, are sold on Etsy, and on her website: myhandyhats.com. Additionally, Handy Hats can customize hats for groups, events, and businesses.
Handy Hats took home the 1st place prize at the University of Dayton Business Plan "Flyer Pitch" Competition in April of 2019, and has been named to the Dayton Business Journal’s Start-ups to Watch in 2020 & 2021. Most recently, Handy Hats teamed up with Fab, Fit, Fun to create a custom Handy Hat for their National program.
