After inventing and developing a number of complex technologies for wellbores and subsea, the founder (Henning Hansen) learned from several clients that there is a need for simpler and lower cost downhole pump solutions for wells that are low to medium producers.
Following several patent applications, we have developed the first product: A small OD gas operated pump, the "Dayapump", for through tubing deployment to perform gas well dewatering.
The design allows for installation within/through tubing sizes down to 2-3/8". The product can also be used for pumping water/oil wells.
The company is mid 2017 performance- and flow testing a innovative rod less downhole pump for CSG/CBM wells, that is planned for installations in Australia. Our shareholder, Aarbakke Innovation AS, has been crucial for the development, manufacturing and testing of this technology - Which is a great benefit for Hansenpumps, as we can maintain our lean and efficient organization.
