The Hartford Lumber Company

The Hartford Lumber Company is a 5th generation, family run business that has been continuously operated in its present location for more than 125 years. Providing free delivery within our normal delivery territory, we distribute more than 75,000 items on a competitive basis to professional builders and remodelers, do-it-yourselfers, government agencies and non-profit institutions throughout New England and New York, with over 98% of all orders being delivered within one business day from date of order. No order is too large, or to small, to be priced competitively and delivered promptly; we pride ourselves on handling special order goods and/r servicing a customer’s special needs. We are conveniently located just north of downtown Hartford, CT and we are just a few blocks from the Route 84 and Route 91 Interchange (on State Route 44). Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. On-site free parking is available. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash, as well as offer credit to qualified individuals and/or companies. Furthermore, we are certified by the State of Connecticut as a Minority Business Enterprise (Woman).
