Harvest107 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that believe that the prevention of hunger and malnutrition can best be achieved by working alongside women and children. When female farmers are given the same opportunities as men, yields increase and hunger decreases. Through our sustainable agriculture course, women are equipped to grow nutritious foods so that their families are nourished and can remain together. Through our school curriculum, children are taught the skill of growing vegetables anywhere - from the ground to the rooftop - and to understand the importance of vegetables and nutrition. We believe women and children are the future of food-security, and that sustainable agriculture and nutrition education are key to solving this issue.
