High Tide Resources (CSE: HTRC) is an iron ore exploration and development company with 100% ownership of the Labrador West Iron Project located adjacent to IOC/Rio Tinto's Carol Lake Mine in the southern Labrador Trough, Canada's largest source of iron ore. The Labrador West Project is expected to produce a high-value DR quality iron pellet. With an increased focus on reducing carbon emissions in the steelmaking processes the steel industry is experiencing a shift in its production methods creating an increased demand for higher-purity iron products such as Direct Reduced Iron for Electric Arc Furnaces.
