About Historisch Café

Historisch Café Amsterdam is ondertussen best een fenomeen in Amsterdam. Met de woorden “To History, what else?” proosten wij elke tweede woensdag van de maand op de geschiedenis. Geschiedenis met een biertje, onderzoekend maar ook gezellig. De redactie bestaat uit docenten, promovendi en studenten van de Universiteit van Amsterdam, maar ook educatoren en historici aangesloten bij musea of instituten als het IISG. Samen maken we elke maand een programma met interviews over gepubliceerde boeken en discussies over actuele of onbekende historische thema’s. We willen daarbij toegankelijk zijn voor een breed publiek en kiezen voor een gezellige cafésetting. Toegang is altijd gratis (of op donatie)! U vindt ons elke tweede woensdag van de maand om 20:00 uur in Café P96 te Amsterdam
