History Camp (HistoryCamp.org) takes place every week online and in-person throughout the year. History Camp began in 2014 as an annual in-person event and grew to other cities. In 2020 we added weekly live-streamed History Camp Discussions with noted history authors. In 2021 we held our first History America, an online event that attracted people from across the country and beyond. In 2022 we returned to in-person events with our first History Camp Valley Forge and our first Pursuit of History Weekend.
History Camp is a project of The Pursuit of History® (ThePursuitOfHistory.org), the non-profit organization that engages adults in conversation about history and connects them with historic sites in their communities and across the country through innovative in-person and online programming.
We create and present these innovative programs because we believe that more people gaining a broader understanding of history has never been more important.
