Welcome to The HIVE Maternal Wellness Center. We are a perinatal mental health provider primarily serving pregnant and postpartum clients and their partners, centering BIPOC families. Mental health-related conditions are common during and after pregnancy, and when left unrecognized or untreated, can lead to bad outcomes. In fact, they are the leading cause of maternal death in the US, so it is critical that it is addressed. The founder is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Psych Nurse Practitioner, so she understands the perinatal nuances, such as the importance of establishing good sleeping habits with a newborn, and medicine safety while pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
