As part of the HMPPS Insights Group we support HMPPS policy and operations to be evidence-informed by communicating evidence, data and insights to the right people, at the right time, in the right way. We promote an open learning culture by providing opportunities for staff across the Criminal Justice System to come together to learn, share good practice, connect, and celebrate success. We engage with key stakeholders within HMPPS and across the CJS to understand what they need, when, and in what format to enable them to have an evidence-informed approach to their work. We deliver an ongoing programme of virtual learning events, blogs, videos and resources for staff across the CJS through the HMPPS Insights website. We lead on the annual Insights Festival, a 2 week programme of free events for staff across the CJS. This includes unique opportunities to shadow or spend time with the top senior leaders across the CJS, academic seminars, project showcases, practice workshops, and site visits.
