InsideTime

Inside Time is a wholly owned subsidiary and the 'Not for Profit' arm of the national charity the New Bridge Foundation established in 1956. Inside Time was launched in 1990 and origanly publish by New Bridge as a 12 page quarterly newspaper distributing 20,000 copies of each issue . Inside Time Limited was established in 2003 primarly to develop the newspaper and operate independently. Since 2003 the newspaper has been developed into a monthly publication and over 57,000 copies of each issue are distrubuted throughout the UK estate including Holding Centres and many hostels. It is also avialbale on a subscription basis and read by members of the public with an interest in penal affairs, students, lawyers and MP's. The website attracts over 1.5 million hits per month. Readers are predominently based in the UK but there also also visitors to the site by people from over 80 different countries. Other publications include Inside Information - the Comprehensive Guidebook for Prisons and Prison Related Services, and Inside Poetry a compilation of poems written by serving prisoners.
