About Haven of Hope Christian Service
In the 1950s, witnessing the desperate plight of the refugees in Tiu Keng Leng, Sister Annie Skau, the founder of Haven of Hope Christian Service (HOHCS) helped unite their knots in lives by means of medical assistance. Not merely did Sister Annie care about their health, she endeavored to meet their psychological, social and spiritual needs.
Inheriting Sister Annie Skau’s spirit of “Respecting Life. Impacting Life”, HOHCS keeps up with the times to proactively develop diversified services covering four areas of service, which include elderly services, health care services, rehabilitation services and education services. Also, HOHCS caters to the social needs, cares and serves the underprivileged groups with innovative thinking, in addition to addressing the entire need of a person for the service users.

一九五零年代初，靈實創辦人之一司務道教士看見當時調景嶺難民的需要，透過贈醫施藥幫助病患者，除了關注他們的身體需要外，司教士更重視他們在心理、社交和靈性方面的需要。
靈實傳承司教士「尊重生命·改變生命」的精神，與時並進，積極發展多元化服務，涵蓋長者，健康，復康及教育等四大範疇，並以創新的思維回應社會需求、關懷和服事弱勢社群，滿足服務使用者的全人需要。
