Hope Community Corporation

The Housing Options Production Enterprise or HOPE Community Corporation builds high-quality, energy-efficient, and fire-resistant manufactured housing for victims of natural disasters and lower-income individuals and families pursuing home ownership. Founded in 2022 by Terry McDonald with a $15 million from the state of Oregon, HOPE is rapidly producing housing from its factory in Eugene's old American steel mill. In partnership with Lane ESD, we provide the Hope Factory experience where senior high school students work alongside craft professionals in trades such as welding, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and manufacturing. HOPE is also dedicated to offering employment opportunities to individuals seeking a second chance.
