At Hopeful Aging, we are dedicated to developing innovative engagement opportunities for individuals living with dementia. Each program is thoughtfully designed to reflect the lived experiences of older adults, particularly those with dementia. After rigorous field testing, we make these evidence-based programs available to organizations such as long-term care communities, adult day centers, and home health agencies, as well as to individuals, such as care partners of persons with dementia.
Our latest product, called CONNECT is the only evidence-based engagement system created specifically for people living with dementia. The activities included in CONNECT, developed and tested in numerous NIH-funded clinical trials over the past 10 years, have been shown to improve social engagement and quality of life, while reducing responsive behaviors and depression.
