Hope Mill Recording Studios are based in a grade 2 listed Mill in Ancoats/New Islington, Manchester. Right in the heart of the city's illustrious music scene. The studios have great recording spaces that incorporate a great mix of both analogue and digital technology. All rooms have been carefully considered for their acoustic properties. The control room incorporates a mixture of both diffusion and absorption materials, designed to give a nice even & balanced response. The live space is a great sounding room to capture that classic “ambient” sound. There is also an acoustically treated iso-booth for recording vocals and instruments in complete isolation. The studios were built with precise studio acoustics with musicians in mind. Hopefully we have created a friendly, homely environment which is conducive for making great music. We’ve filled the studios with first rate technology such as an Amek Einstein 40 channel mixing console and a fine collection of mics and pre-amps. We also have a growing collection of classic analogue gear such as; amps, pedals and vintage tape machines.
