HOPPECKE operates internationally, but is still close to its customers, because in addition to our headquarters in Brilon-Hoppecke in Germany, we are represented in 150 countries by 23 international subsidiaries and numerous representative offices and partners. 50 percent of DAX companies and 40 percent of Euro Stoxx50 companies are HOPPECKE customers. With more than 2,000 employees, we are the largest privately owned manufacturer of industrial battery systems in Europe.
HOPPECKE has been run as a family business since 1927. In addition to innovation and continuous improvement of our products, the values of holistic responsibility and cooperation in a spirit of partnership are of paramount importance to us.
Today, we serve four main application areas with our products and solutions: Energy storage solutions for traction systems (trak), energy storage solutions for a secure power supply (grid), energy storage solutions for renewable energies (sun) and energy storage solutions for railway and metro systems (rail).
