HORIZON SA is a Greek company involved in Renewable Energy Production. Since 1992 it has been working on small-scale hydropower projects. HORIZON was the first company to construct the first private small-scale hydropower plant in Greece. Currently, HORIZON has expanded its interests in biomass gasification and energy storage. The company recruits competent engineers and holds valuable collaborations with Research Institutes. HORIZON's activities include: - Investments (participates as shareholder in RES investments) - Services for energy investments: design & planning, permitting, construction, operation & maintainance - Research projects: participation as end user / demo plants - Studies for energy inspections, energy upgrade and energy saving for public and private buildings.
