Hounslow Highways

Hounslow Highways, the highways service provider working on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow, is responsible for maintaining the public roads, pavements and street lighting across the borough, as well as providing a number of other key services including street cleansing, winter maintenance and enforcement. Since the Hounslow Highways contract started, we have been working hard to improve the appearance and quality of Hounslow’s streets. During the first 5 years of the contract, the Core Investment Programme, we resurfaced 186km of roads, renewed 205km of pavements and installed over 15,000 new LED street lights across the borough. Over the past 7 years, we have dealt with on average 34,000 enquiries a year from the community, and in total, 236,099 enquiries since the contract started.
