Houston Design Collaborative

HDC, a new not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to fostering engagement within the HOUSTON community, focusing on the DESIGN of our urban environment in all its COLLABORATIVE forms - architecture, interior design, landscape design, engineering, graphic arts, and those who fabricate and build our city. HDC embraces anyone interested in design in Houston and sub-urban and rural regions that extend beyond the boundaries of our city. Our mission is: - Offer programs and events that educate and inspire new ideas for creating a modern, sustainable, and resilient city - Advocate for our city's designers and the creative process - Promote social interaction among members and all those interested in design - Take a broader view by seeking out outstanding examples from around the world to inform how design is manifested in our local community - Champion sustainability and resilience in our urban landscape
